The Conjuring 3 is an upcoming horror film and the third installment in the very famous horror series
” The Conjuring ” releasing with a tagline “The devil made me do it.”
The Conjuring 3 is overall the eighth film in The Conjuring Universe where private investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren will be working on the case of “The Trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson”.
“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is directed by Michael Chaves with a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. The story is written by Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan.
Michael Chaves was not going to direct The Conjuring 3 until James Wan couldn’t arrange dates. Michael has earlier directed The Curse of La Llorona, which is why James Wan was impressed by him on the set. They both worked on The Curse of La Llorona together.
The Conjuring 3 Plot
The story is again based upon real incidents that happened in 1981 in 1981 in Connecticut. The case was the first time in US history that a murder suspect would claim that he was in control of the ghostly spirit.
Warner Bros gave a description that this film will be one of the most chilling and sensational cases Ed and Lorraine Warren ever worked upon.
On November 24, 1981, in Brookfield, Connecticut, A man named Arne Cheyenne Johnson was convicted of brutal murder killing of his landlord, Alan Bono. The case gathered too much media attention from around the world.
The Conjuring 3 Cast
Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson will reprise their roles as Private investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren whereas other cast includes Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard.
Joseph Bishara – who scored the music for most of the other The Conjuring movies has returned to compose for this one too. Editing is done by Peter Gvozdas.
The Conjuring 3 Release Date
The Conjuring 3 is set to release on September 11, 2020, by Warner Bros. Pictures
and New Line Cinema.
