Based on the novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author Vikas Swarup, Slumdog Millionaire is a British Drama film based on one of the biggest slums in India.The movie starred Dev Patel as Jamal who is a teenager belonging to the Juhu slums of Mumbai.The film is directed by Danny Boyle,written by Simon Beaufoy, and produced by Christian Colson, with co-director Loveleen Tandan .

Jamal Malik,an 18 year old boy from the Dharavi slums of Mumbai,India is currently set to win the Indian version of ” Who wants to be a millionaire? ” But before the last question he is put into jail and locked up for fraud and cheating in the game.He tell the cop the story behind him answering all the correct answers.

Dev Patel won the hearts of people for his performance in the movie along with Indian actor Anil Kapoor who was starred as Prem Kumar hosting the Indian version of “Who wants to be a Millionaire”. Irfan Khan ,also an Indian actor,looked great in the role of a cop who suspected Dev Patel’s charecter for fraud.The performance of all the actors in the film showcase their peak performances which makes the movie worth watching.
