Mirage’s direction is good along with the screenplay but the script is not strong enough. The conclusion is missing. The perfect conclusion that the audience starts to expect is ignored in the film. The film is overall a good entertainment. If you start the film , you will however , really want to go till the end. The suspences are good and satisfying but what the story leads to is not what is expected for such a complex script. Mirage could have been more of it’s type. Mirage involves some time travel , some thrill and some emotions but overall it fails to give a perfect thriller.

Adriana Ugarte’s performance is the most deadly weapon in Mirage. Her character will not let you take your eyes anywhere else for a moment. We develop feels an emotions for her as if we ask ourselves what would we have done if we were in place of her? How would we confess our family that they are ours.

Mirage explores Vera Roy – a wife who has just moved to live in a new house with her husband David Ortiz and a daughter Gloria. The family finds an old TV along with a camcorder , on playing which , they see Nico – a child who recorded everything exactly 25 years ago when he was playing instrument and then he listened some noises in his neighbor. He rushed to the house and found that Mr. angier had killed his wife. He runs back and was run over by a vehicle.

Now , 25 years later , Vera wakes up in the night and finds out that she can actually communicate to Nico through the Television and the Camcorder. She tells Nico not to go outside his house as he will get himself killed. Nico follows her saying which leads to him being saved in an another timeline where everything has changed. Vera finds everything’s changed including her daughter , her career , her husband.

Mirage is more like a Gone Girl type of dark film. The story is complicated but sci-fi geeks will find it interesting. The script is complex and everything goes well but that’s not what the audience expects out of a dark mystery sci fi thriller film of this kinr. You can watch for once and comment us the review.
