Irrfan Khan , one of India’s finest and most promising actor died at the age of 53 in Mumbai due to a colon infection. Irrfan was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018. He died today i.e. on April 29,2020.
Irrfan made his name from Academy Award Winner Slumdog Millionare and Ang Lee’s Life of Pi. He mastered both Hollywood and Bollywood with his intense acting abilities and on liners. Irrfan delivered some of the best dialogues from the film Industry. He was also awarded with the National award for Best Actor for Pan Singh Tomar and Padma Shri Award for his contribution in Arts.
Irrfan’s last film was English Medium which was the story of a girl and her father struggling with admission in a foreign university. Irrfan also gave the blockbuster Hindi Medium which reflected the struggle of parents who are uneducated to get their child admitted to an expensive school.
Irrfan started his film career in Salaam Bombay! in 1988. After years of struggle , he starred in the British film The Warrior(2001). He worked in around 80 films including British and American Films. His international works include Life of Pi, The Amazing Spiderman , Inferno, The Lunchbox and Talvar.
It is also said that Irrfan turned down roles in the Hollywood blockbusters Interstellar and Ridley Scott’s The Martian for Bollywood films like The Lunchbox and Talvar. His films will always be an inspiration for actors and of course, his eyes and his voice were so unique and impactfull.
