The show was currently set for a release in summers 2020 but due to the current pandemic situation, there are no signs of production going on in the Japanese anime industry. This will result in the season 5 getting postponed to somewhere in June 2021. Although, there hasn’t been any confirmation about the release date of Highschool DXD Season 5 by the makers.

So far, the anime series has successfully covered over 10 volumes of the novel so there are speculations that the upcoming season will cover 11th and 12th volumes of the novel by Miyama-Zero.  Issei Hyodo is a High school student who is actually a pervert and is killed by his first date. He then becomes a devil to serve a devil family.
