James Cameron has already revealed that the Avatar project is his biggest dream and he prepared for the first one since 1994. He worked his time both in the development of technologies for the visual part as well as the production of the film. Cameron has always shown that he prefers delivering quality movies rather than a movie every year. He works for his films and prepares so that his film becomes a piece of perfection when released. Besides, He is not only working on Avatar 2 but on Avatar 3 simultaneously which means both films will be released with a short span of interval. In fewer years, we will also be seeing Avatar 4 and Avatar 5.

What are the titles of the upcoming Avatar sequels?

There haven’t been Official confirmation from James Cameron about the names but according to a BBC report the titles that are being considered are Avatar: The Way of Water, Avatar: The Seed Bearer, Avatar: The Tulkun Rider and Avatar: The Quest for Eywa.

James Cameron denied these names to be final. He might also make it simple for us by just going on with Avatar 2, Avatar 3, Avatar 4 and Avatar 5.

What is the plot of Avatar 2?

Avatar was the struggle of the Pandora inhabitants against humans. In the climax, we saw Jake Sully being transformed into a Na’vi body. Now, he is married to Neytiri and has his children. The upcoming four films will establish the Avatar as a family saga where the Na’vi family fights against bad humans. Grizzled soldier Quaritch is going to be back and will be the main antagonist in the upcoming four films.

What characters are returning in Avatar 2?

Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are playing Jake and Neytiri again along with Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore and CCH Pounder (Na’vi spiritual leader) are all reprising their roles. Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang as Grace Augustine and General Quaritch who died in the first Avatar are returning back in their respective roles. James just said that it’s a science fiction film and anything can happen. Kate Winslet is joining the cast of Avatar 2 as Ronal.

Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, David Thewlis, CJ Jones, and Vin Diesel are also joining the sequel.

Lastly, there still remains a question if the world still wants to see the Pandora world. It’s been more than 10 years and the world has evolved much more with the 3D technology. Avatar was surely the first 3D film but today, the technology it used has become common with the release of many science fiction franchises. That might also be the reason James Cameron took so much time for the film maybe he was exploring the audience’s taste and has figured all about it.
